My Wholesale Release Schedule: A Behind-the-Scenes Peek

When I first dipped my toes into the wholesale world, my product releases were as rare as a blue moon—just once a year during the National Stationery Show. Fast forward to today, and I've jazzed up my strategy to a triumphant trio of releases per year! A well-timed release schedule is like having a secret weapon, ensuring your brand stays fresh and exciting while keeping retailers coming back for more.


Here’s a sneak peek into my dazzling schedule and what I drop during each season:


January Release: The Grand Spectacle

January is my time to dazzle! It’s like a New Year’s party for my products. With holiday sales adding a splash of cash and shelves needing a little post-holiday love, it’s the perfect moment to launch my biggest collection of the year.


What I Release: Spring is in the air! Think products for Mom, Dad, and graduates, plus floral and vibrant colors that scream springtime joy. Retailers are ready to stock up and freshen up their offerings with all the new, spring vibes. Fresh and vibrant items that celebrate spring’s full bloom, like Easter-themed designs, spring cleaning essentials, and playful, nature-inspired designs. It’s all about bringing the brightness of spring to life and adding a little extra pep to retailers' product lines.


March Release: Spring Awakening

While March marks the arrival of spring, and it's my chance to burst forth with new ideas for the summer season. It’s all about capturing that hot and sunny, carefree energy and getting retailers excited about what's new for the warmer months.

What I Release: A splash of summer essentials—think fun, colorful designs that capture the carefree spirit of the season. From beach-themed fragrances and bright, tropical designs to summer party hostess gifts and vibrant pops of color, this collection is all about bringing the joy of summer into every store and home. Plus, I include playful and trendy items that cater to summer events like weddings, birthdays, and outdoor gatherings, ensuring retailers have everything they need to make their summer offerings pop.


June Release: The Mid-Year Magic

June kicks off a whirlwind of summer tradeshows like Atlanta, Dallas, and NYNOW. Believe it or not, retailers are already daydreaming about the holiday season. This is my chance to swoop in with some holiday cheer.


What I Release: Everything from festive messaging, holiday colorways, and gift sets to Halloween and Thanksgiving goodies. Plus, I toss in a few designs for the new year and some fresh everyday essentials and restocks to fill in any gaps. It’s like a holiday feast for the eyes.


September Release: A Fresh Start & Love is in the Air

As summer fades and fall begins, September marks my final wholesale release and push of the year. It’s the perfect time to set the stage for both New Year’s and Valentine’s Day, giving retailers plenty of time to prepare for the upcoming celebrations.

What I Release: A dazzling array of Valentine’s and love-themed products—think heartfelt, romantic designs ready to make a splash when the season of love arrives. Plus, a fresh collection of New Year’s designs to ring in the year with style and optimism. This release ensures retailers are ready to capture hearts and celebrate new beginnings.


By scheduling these releases four times a year, we're not just keeping our brands vibrant—we're also grooving to the rhythm of retailers’ buying patterns. It’s all about hitting the right notes and ensuring our fabulous creations keep shelves stocked and customers delighted. Cheers to a schedule that keeps the magic going all year long!
